85th Birthday Party

Family time is the best! This family was able to get together for their Grandma's 85th birthday during Christmas break. They reminded me a lot of my family and their grandma has the same unique hair as my great grandma did! When I was young, I always wanted the snowy white, fluffy hair that she had.

Brian and Liana - Engagement

I did Brian and Liana's pictures on an almost zero degree day and they were more than willing to do anything I had in mind! They're both so easy-going which made my "job" so enjoyable this day.

I always find myself stressing before sessions and giving myself pep talks like "Alright they obviously asked me to do this because they will be happy with what I give them" and "They know what they're expecting because they saw my work already, right?" and "But what if I can't get what I want because my camera isn't the kind of camera I know I need" and "Jana, seriously, do not let these other very talented photographers make you give up!! They all started somewhere too! With time, you too will be getting the pictures you always imagine!"

Anyways, Brian and Liana were GREAT !! I was able to relax and really enjoy what I love to do :) I cannot wait for their wedding day in a little under a month!
