Brian and Liana - Engagement

I did Brian and Liana's pictures on an almost zero degree day and they were more than willing to do anything I had in mind! They're both so easy-going which made my "job" so enjoyable this day.

I always find myself stressing before sessions and giving myself pep talks like "Alright they obviously asked me to do this because they will be happy with what I give them" and "They know what they're expecting because they saw my work already, right?" and "But what if I can't get what I want because my camera isn't the kind of camera I know I need" and "Jana, seriously, do not let these other very talented photographers make you give up!! They all started somewhere too! With time, you too will be getting the pictures you always imagine!"

Anyways, Brian and Liana were GREAT !! I was able to relax and really enjoy what I love to do :) I cannot wait for their wedding day in a little under a month!

Luke and Chareen - Wedding

Luke and Chareen got married on the 2nd of December. They had almost NO snow for their wedding day.. in the U.P.!! This was great for picture purposes. 

Noreen's angle of the ring, so awesome!

Another one of hers. I really love how the picture has the curl in the birch. It adds so much more to the picture with just that simple curl.

Noreen's again. Her pictures are all mixed throughout mine, I love all her different angles from the day!

Chareen bought a long skirt and a short dress and put them together. You never would have guessed. They go together so well as a wedding dress!
